The Shofar is a musical instrument made of a ram’s horn. Once the horn arrives at the factory, it undergoes process sanitation and disinfection to make it be a kosher Shofar.
The Shofar is a Synagogue Item that is blown during the service every year on the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah. It can be as long as you want it to be, as long as it is kosher. Synagogues usually use medium size Shofars, as it is a combination of a strong sound and convenient size.
The Shofar, like many other articles in Judaism, varies according to custom and tradition: The most popular and commonly-used one is the hoof-shaped classic twisted Shofar.
This fully polished Shofar makes a perfect gift for Rash Hashanah or for all natural instrument lovers!

It was very affordable, it looks nice and it doesn’t smell bad. You can tell it’s real if you stick it up to your nose and inhale, but I keep it sitting out on my dresser for decoration and I’ve not smelled it once. I watched a YouTube video on how to blow it and was able to immediately, and I’ve never played a trumpet or anything like that. Used it at the beach to celebrate the Feast of Trumpets and blew it out on the beach (with no one around) 🙂

Well, item is just as advertised; did not notice that I needed to get a stand for it as well. Luv the instructions on playing it that came with shofar.

I got this for my husband for Christmas because it’s something he’s always wanted. I must admit at first I was a little disappointed in the size for the amount of money I spent. But I chose this one because it was advertised as odorless. After hearing a friend say his shofar smells so bad, I was happy I spent a little more to get one that’s odorless. That being said, my husband likes it a lot and has no problem getting a sound out of it.
