I must vehemently disagree with the previous reviewer of this product. I guess he misunderstood its intended usage. In his case, he should have purchased an enclosure for his noisy computer instead.
In any case, here goes my review:

The unit is reasonably well build and looks professional in the studio. It considerably minimize the room’s reflection and it allows the user to adjust the dryness of the sound by changing the panel’s distance to the mic. While it may not be a replacement for a well balanced sound booth, it does improve the quality of the recording.

Pricing was good and shipping time was great. Having recorded a few gold and platinum albums myself, I consider this to be a useful product and a good value for a home studio.

I bought this to use in my home studio for voice over/voice acting. It does a great job keeping unwanted reflections out and cleans the sound up a lot overall. You can really hear a difference with and without it. I don’t have any other acoustic treatment in the room i’m using and my recordings sound just fine. It will only take a few strategically placed panels to make the recordings perfect.

Warnings: Make sure you have a sturdy stand, preferably a straight stand not a boom stand. You can use this item on a boom stand however you will have to position it so that the boom is straight up and down, the mount for the enclosure does not flex or adjust in any way.

This is a portable sound booth that works very well. Use a good condenser microphone and pop filter screen to get studio quality. The item is heavy so you need to use a decent microphone stand. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it for even garage bands or those that cannot afford professional studio time where they have sound proof booth.
