The pedal itself works great. If you have a Vox VT series amp you really have to have this footswitch for live performance. Without this footswitch your custom patches are almost inaccessable. The pedal is rather heavy because it is made of good heavy steel with nice heavy duty pro foot switches. The first switch also has an LCD that changes from green to red depending on the program bank you are accessing. One thing that I like a great deal is that when you go from one bank to another the number of the preset stays the same just moves to that same number on the other bank. To better explain, let’s say you are on preset bank #1(Green) and you are using patch #3 on that bank, when you hit the first switch to go to the other bank (#2 red) you are now on bank two (red) patch #3. I find this very useful since I put the patches for my loudest leads on patch #4 on each bank. They vary slightly (one has a long delay and compressor and one one doesn’t). Since they are both patch #4 on their respective banks I can switch back and forth by just hitting the bank switch.
One slight problem I notice is that when you change from one patch to another there is a momentary volume boost. It only lasts a fraction of a second but if you are holding a note or a chord while you are changing you will hear a quick spike in the volume. As I said it is just a fast spike but I see it as a minor quirk that is manageable once you are aware of it. Just learn to make your changes between notes or chords. The cable is nice and long and the whole pedal is very well made. My only major complaint is the price. .00 is too much for a pedal that contains no electronics and just switches to different banks. It should come with the amp at a modest mark up. 0

![]() Amazing Footswitch!,

If you have a VOX VT Series Valvetronix amp, this is a must buy (unless you preffer using your own pedals instead of the amp’s built-in effects and sounds). It’s amazing, works perfectly. You can control all your 8 saved banks (when the amp os set at “bank mode”), in “manual mode”, you can turn “reverb” and effects on and off and use the “tap-tempo” function, for exemple, of the “delay” or “tape echo” effect. The only downside is that you can’t switch between the “preset mode”, “manual mode” and “bank mode” through the footswitch, so you have to do it manually in the amp itself. But you can get through it.
Maybe it’s a little bit expensive, but it’s worth every penny! 0

Genuine VOX footswitch works great with my VOX VT30 amp. Solidly built and heavy – it shouldn’t move around on you when using. I think I could drive over it and it would still work. I only wish VOX had put more than one light/LED on it so you could tell what preset is selected.
