I purchased this bugle for my 16 year old son so that he could learn Taps and play at military funerals. I purchased it because it was reasonably priced and figured that even if it wasn’t any good that I wouldn’t be out much money. It met or maybe even exceeded my expectations. It has a very good sound and is loud. My 13 year old son was excited about the bugle as well. He couldn’t wait to open the box. By the time I made it home from work he had already taught himself Taps, not perfect, but pretty good. I am now contemplating purchasing another bugle so that the two of them could perform Taps together creating an echo of Taps. Anyway, I would recommend the purchase of this bugle. I believe it is well worth the money.
