I simply couldn’t believe a musical instrument like this was available so inexpensively! I had only a few days to wait before the package arrived in the mail. With trembling hands, I withdrew it from the protective wrapping. Holding it aloft, I struck the gleaming metal with the wand, and BING! The note rang out clear and true. I keep it handy for those moments when my spirits need a little pick-me-up.

We are ages 24 and 27 and we sat in the living room playing with this little thing after I got it for a while. LOL We are musicians and I put this on my wishlist so that we have lots of knick-knacks to play around with in our music. There’s actually a lot we could do with this thing…and like I said…it is fun. If you are getting it as a toy, it’s very durable. Much heavier and thicker than I was expecting, so it won’t break (but could easily break something else!).

Can be used to signal to everyone that the vittles are ready. But it has pretty good sound, I’m putting it into my conga/bonga kit. It was thicker than I thought it would be, that’s why it doesn’t sound like a toy so much. Not bad for under .
