The .433″ bore provides the traditional sound and playability of a warm flugel and has impeccable intonation. A one piece hand-hammered 6 “diameter Gold Brass Bell comes standard yet there is nothing standard about it! The Tempest bell responds quickly and helps the player produce a very warm, rich and full-bodied tone while still exhibiting great projection, and no sacrifice of playability in the higher register. Add 3 lightening fast Monel Piston Valves, 3 water keys and a 3rd slide trigger and you have a flugel that is mellow all the way.
