This is a great little instrument !!! The bars are in tune, sturdily fastened with a screw to the sturdy frame yet loose enough as to not interfere with the tone production. The frame is securely made, has good felts under each bar adding to its excellent sound and each note is clearly marked in red for easy reference. When placed on a table or other hard surface it resonates well producing a clear sound. Recommended for beginning players
