This Roy Benson flugelhorn features an 11 mm bore, a 6-Feet gold brass bell and branch. This flugelhorn produces a rich and warm sound with great tuning. It also comes with a unique lyre holder for marching. It comes standard with a trigger on the third valve slide and three water keys. Also included is a light weight case with back pack assembly.

 Minor problem with this flugelhorn,

This instrument was a Xmas gift for my son. He was excited to receive it but after playing it a little bit, he noticed a change in the sound. His HS Band Director looked at it and thinks it has an air leak in the spit valve. Rather than go to all the trouble of packing it up and sending it back, we have decided to get it repaired locally. Other than this minor issue, it is a very nice instrument for the price. Basically, it seems well made and has good valve action and a nice sound.
