Product Description: Designed for djembes, this stand may be used for a number of drums. The smaller ring can accommodate a drum up to 9 3/8 inch in diameter. The top and bottom ring are coated in a non-slip rubber. Use this stand to hold your drum while you play, it is the perfect height when you are seated in a chair. Or you can store your drum in the stand to keep it from accidentally tipping over. The six metal struts connecting the two rings provide good stability and support. Over all height 17.5 inches, bottom ring is 14.5 inches in diameter outside and 13.5 inches inside.

This product is very helpful if you wish to play your djembe while sitting. It’s sturdy, and with the rubber coating, it offers the drum a bit of protection from scratches. [It is also helpful for storage.]
The stand raises the drum off the floor, which allows the sound hole to do its job more effectively –a fact that frees the drum’s uniquely versatile “voices” for best playing, slaps, tones, and most especially, bass. This stand is the perfect companion to a Remo Festival Djembe 12.” 0

![]() Big Problem Solver, By

I play congas, primarily, and djembe on the side, literally, on the right side. This stand is light weight and does what I need it to do, tilt the drum away from me at just the right angle. When it comes time for djembe, I just rotate 90 degrees and we’re ready to go. Wish there was something like this for quinto. Anyway, the djembe is just a tad top-heavy and this solves the problem, my feet around the stand, and I don’t have to worry about the djembe going “TIMBER!” during a performance.

This review is from: REMO Lightweight Djembe Floor Stand, Black, Fits All Size Djembes (Electronics)
The stand looks great when my djembe sits on it. I have a Remo Leon Mobley Signature djembe. When playing I question the functionality of the stand. I tend to have to balance it with my feet as I play. It kind of wobbles… especially on carpet. But on really smooth floors it is barely noticable. This stand is good if you don’t play much or can figureout a way to prevent the wobble. But it is a good price and it does the job. I’m thinking about making a sandbag to place on the base to prevent the wobble since i think its too light to support the djembe so it becomes top heavy. Its a good buy if you’re on a budget.
