Well packaged, smelled of incense when opened, and great ring and sing on the first try! I will post a short video to play the note. That is one thing I was worried about when purchasing this bowl sound-unheard but I am pleasantly surprised. I had ordered two bowls and realized that I posted the wrong video originally (e.g. other bowl), I have since deleted the other video, but I still love this little guy, and I have redone the video. I apologize for confusing anyone, I never meant to mislead.

Which is my fault that I didn’t read the size of the bowl. The wooden mallet that is included is large (standard) size. This bowl does have a nice sound, but with the smaller size it does make it a little less comfortable to use the mallet and get a good ring to it.

Shipped promptly, arrived as advertised. This small bowl is perfect for display and playing. It rings and sings. The wooden pieces needed a bit of oil to bring out some luster and one must be very carful if they decide to polish the bowl but a tiny bit of attention to detail is very rewarding indeed! This is an excellent gift.
