This is a solid product. It is well-made and has a good sound. I recommend this product to all aspiring Kalimba players!

I’m a big fan of unique musical instruments, and I recently starting looking at the kalimba due to the really awesome and mellow sound it can provide. I have previously spent on a kalimba which seemed ok but was not very well put together. This item, on the other hand, has a very solid build. It has a soothing tone, the quality of the tines helps give the overall sound a smoother production than the more common iron tines. The volume of it is very moderate without a resonator box, but if you can find something to put it on (I used a large 10L water bottle for example) it can produce a nice volume with cool effects. I would say that it is certainly worth the price, however it does not come with any packaging. Mine arrived in a large box with another item and I had to realign the tines. This did not appear to drastically alter it’s tuning. I will most certainly be looking at the company’s other products in the future.
