My wife and I bought these for a performances that we were having with the Voices of the Commonwealth along with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra. The hand strap on the back of the folder, the strings on the inside and the restraining tape (to keep the folder from flopping open made for an ideal folchoral folder for use on a fairly crowded choral riser. The single handed support of the music leave you other hand free for turning pages. These were ideal for our performances and will be useful for future performances.

I’ve been looking for a folder that does not require me to hole punch my sheet music. This is a great folder! It came with a mechanical pencil that has its own hanging pocket on the right side of the folder for easy access. There are pockets on the inside of each side and they are pretty big. I have even put my car keys in them for the performances I can’t bring a purse to. This is a great price for this folder! Buy it!

![]() Superb, with two small (inconsequential) design flaws,

I bought one of these because I figured that it would be cheaper than buying a binder every year and that it would last about 4 years or so. The pockets hold lots and lots of music–just enough space to fit the expansive semester’s repertoire of the University Singers of the University of Alabama. I also love being able to hold it easily with one hand, thanks to the band at the bottom.
There are two design aspects, however, that bring the rating down for me. For one, why would anyone put the pencil holder where they did? It adds bulk to the pages and can result in bent pages. Instead, I just do what everyone does: I keep my pencil next to my music on the edge of one of the pockets. The other is the band that holds the folder open. The presence of the band makes it extremely difficult to keep the folder lying flat, which makes putting music in and out more difficult. I could also use more elastic holds, but 7 is a relatively large number for a choir folder as it is. Overall, if you don’t mind those two design aspects I mentioned, I would highly recommend this folder! It looks extremely professional and will protect your music well. 0 |
