The instrument is hand-made using finest materials to produce a soft warm tone and to provide tonal clarity. The high grade metal reeds are made of brass. This Shruti Box has an added bonus as it produces sound at A440 concert pitch. Shruti Box ACJ has one octave range of thirteen notes (from C3 to C4 on the piano). Came with scratches and nics. Sound is bad. Better off buying a better one. Very disappointed in this product overall. I wish I had spent more money and got something better.

I like this little instrument. I have played it several times in performance. Because the way the stops function by moving them to the side using one hand as you pump the bellows with the other, it is difficult to change pitch during performance. But for a sustained drone it is fine. The finish was very imperfect (scratches & a score in the wood)

i recieved in perfect time and conditions the shurti box.
the only thing that i don’t like about it is that the sound does not last very long, it goes off each time i move the box inside…. hope you understand what i’m trying to say beacuase i don’t know how to explain it in english. thanks. 0 |
