This bass is good for the price. I needed an acoustic to lug around, and play in odd places. My electric is nice and easier to play, but not so mobile. The strings are not bronze and will need to be replaced right away; because bronze is the correct strings to put on an acoustic bass. Also the strings that come with the bass gives it a lot of buzz in the sound. Also, it will not come calibrated; the neck will have to be adjusted with the allen wrench provided with the guitar. Also the frets are some what big which give the bass some slight buzz when the strings are not pressed down just right. The good news is that for the price it is a good deal. It is a full size bass, the sounds carries very well, and resonates a deep loud sound. I have been playing it in my band practices, when we play unplugged. There are two acoustic six string guitars; my bass is not over powered by the others at all. It is really nice for campouts also. It will need some mods to be up to par for a serious musician, but it is very playable for a pro or novice after it is fixed up. If you are a beginner; get it you can lug it around, play it anywhere, and you will learn faster than with an electric. If you are a seasoned bass player it will work if you want a cheap bass to carry around and play in strange places for fun get it. However, if you want it to play on stage spend the extra money and get a nicer acoustic.

This bass is amazing, Its very well made and well worth the price!!Its sound is so prominent with its deep tones you wont need an amplifier. The picture does not show its true beauty. You have to see it to believe it.I have the black one and i love it.

![]() I Love It (but no shoulder strap…),

I really love my acoustic-electric bass. I don’t know what other people are talking about when they gave negative reviews- I was right not to listen to them. The sound is perfect and if the frets buzz it’s because the string needs to be pressed down harder. There is no defect in the neck or strings or bridge. The strings do not need to be changed! They sound great. There was an allen wrench inside my bass when it came.. but that’s ok.
A major problem I HAVE had is that there is only one peg on the bottom to put a shoulder strap on…. the other peg is not installed. I have not fixed this and I don’t know if this has happened to anyone else. The body is beautiful. I have never plugged it in to test the ‘electric’ part so I can’t review anything about that aspect. I thought this bass was a great buy, very inexpensive for a quality instrument. I play it all the time and the acoustic sound enables me to learn and grow in a new and efficient way. You can even play chords as you would on a guitar. I was not disappointed with anything about my bass except the missing peg for the shoulder strap. I had a hard time deciding whether to buy this 4-stringed bass or the 5-string electric acoustic Dean bass but now I know I will buy the 5-string too because they are such quality guitars. Some people claimed the body was very large but it is not much larger than a normal acoustic guitar in the body. I am a small lady at 5’2″ & 118 lbs but I can play my bass just fine; the bass is not oversized for anyone. 0 |
