When I saw the price listed, I didn’t think it was a real musical instrument. I thought, with this cheap price(no shipping charge), at least I could hang on the wall for decoration. After I got this flute, it supprised to me that it is acually a musical instrument. It clearly marked “Made in Shanghai, China”, but no “Passed” label and no factory name. therefore the qualities of flutes varries, it deppend on how lucky you are to get a good one. I am happy that I don’t have to hang it on wall.

It plays, and plays nicely. I don’t actually know how this particular flute is supposed to sound, but I played other bamboo flutes, and this one is good. It has a broad range (2+ octaves) and can be easily overblown. It is also well-tuned. Overall, to be honest, It is a much better instrument than I expected to get for this price! Totally recommend.

Absolutely fantastic!! So cheap, and such a beautiful instrument. When you learn how to produce sound, you’ll love it! I’m currently working on getting in more octaves–technically speaking. Recommended!!
