The KT108 serves well as a general purpose amplifier for limited volume situations. I actually bought a second one and I essentially use them as powered speakers for a small Behringer stereo mixer, through which I run a couple mics, electric drums, keyboard, and on occassion acoustic guitar.
For limited volume situations, the KT108s perform pretty well, and seem to produce the sonic range reasonably well. They are not very loud; by way of comparison a 6 watt Line 6 Micro Spider amp produces (a little) more volume than the KT108 running a guitar into it. As you’d expect from a small amp, they are limited in how much air they can move and can only produce so much volume of the deep bass sounds a 76 keyboard can produce without rumbling. However, for my limited volume needs (ie practicing in a townhouse where I don’t want to bother the neighbors too much) they are more than up to the job, and do a good job with the drums, organ, vocals and acoustic guitar. 0

I am not a performing professional but play the electronic drums at home; My kids and I play a Roland set that is pretty nice, but not certainly on their high end. I started shopping for a basic amp some time ago, something I have never owned before.
When you are clueless about buying something you know nothing about, you rely on reviews and some luck. This turned out really well for us. We do not need high volume (we set it on 2 out of 10 on the volume knob). It is easy to connect electric drums to this as either mono or stereo. The amp mixes two components. There is a high mid and low (bass and treble basically) that makes the amp sound pretty good. I did not even read the manual and got it going in 5 minutes once out of the box. For this type of basic application this is really a good deal and I would imagine it would be good for any type of instrument that needs one, too. I can understand though, that someone who performs even just semi-professionally, would want something with better quality sound. But again, for us, just right. 0

This is a very good sounding small amp suitable for a piano bar setting. It is not for a big auditorium. It has clear professional amp sound in a small room or space. I recommend it if you want something to balance your vocal with a loud piano.
